Turn your municipality into a benchmark for urban sustainability
We design, install, and support comprehensive urban garden projects for public administrations. From start to finish.
Municipal urban gardens
Since 2020, Urban Green Club has designed and managed community urban garden projects with city councils across Spain. Each project includes infrastructure design, installation, and ongoing training — to ensure the positive impact is sustained over time.
Comprehensive urban garden projects
We work with paved and soil ground. Each installation includes a design adapted to the space, the construction of the cultivation infrastructure, and subsequent technical support.
We lead training workshops on agroecology, food sovereignty, urban composting, and applied sustainability — coordinated with the environmental, social welfare, and education departments of each local council.
Arabuleila Eco-Garden · Armilla, Granada
From degraded lot to community green infrastructure
In 2021, the Armilla City Council committed to transforming an abandoned space into the first community urban garden in the Granada metropolitan area. Today, the Arabuleila Eco-garden is an active green infrastructure: it reduces ambient temperature, regenerates the soil, and trains residents in agroecology.
Climate shelters
We install biodiversity oases that beautify spaces and improve livability in the summer.
Urban garden at the Palacio de la Quinta Alegre · Granada
Urban agriculture in the heart of Granada
The Quinta Alegre Palace hosts one of the most unique urban garden projects in Granada. A cultivation space integrated into a historical setting, designed for young people and the community, which combines agroecological training with social revitalization.

Frequently asked questions about urban gardens for city councils
What does a municipal urban garden project include?
Each project includes a site assessment, the design of cultivation infrastructure adapted to the environment, installation, and commissioning. It also includes ongoing technical support, community engagement, and a program of training workshops coordinated with the local council.
Which municipalities do you work in?
Our primary area of operation is Andalusia. We have executed projects in the Granada metropolitan area and work with municipalities in the provinces of Granada, Malaga, Almeria, and Jaen. If your municipality is outside this area, please contact us to evaluate feasibility.
How long does an urban garden project with a city council last?
It depends on the scope. The installation phase is usually completed in a few weeks. Ongoing support and training are planned by growing season, with the possibility of an annual or multi-year program depending on the municipality's objectives.
How can a municipal urban garden project be funded?
There are European, national, and regional grant programs focused on green infrastructure, ecological transition, and social cohesion that can fund projects of this type. We advise municipalities on identifying these opportunities during the planning phase.
What sets Urban Green Club apart from other gardening or landscaping companies?
We specialize exclusively in urban gardens. We are not a landscaping company. Our projects integrate infrastructure, training, community engagement, and technical support, with a model designed to be sustainable over time and generate measurable impact on people and the environment.
Can you substantiate the impact of the projects against SDG indicators?
Yes. Our projects are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDGs 3 (good health and well-being), 10 (reduced inequalities), 11 (sustainable cities and communities), and 13 (climate action). We document the process and results to facilitate accountability for each city council.
What happens when the installation project is finished?
The project does not end with the installation. Urban Green Club offers ongoing technical guidance, periodic training workshops, and support for the community's autonomous management of the garden. The goal is for each project to be sustainable without permanent reliance on our team.
Is Urban Green Club certified?
Yes. Urban Green Club is a Certified B Corporation (B Corp), an international seal that evaluates the real impact of companies on people, communities, and the environment. It is a guarantee of consistency between what we say and what we do.
